He is a member of the California Narcotic Officers Association, and the California Homicide Investigators Association. Tony Joven has taught college accredited courses at the Regional Police Academy, the Modesto Junior College, and California State University, Stanislaus.

Tony Joven completed courses and certifications in Casualty Investigation and Adjusting, Property Damage Estimating, Special Investigations, Claims Management, and Insurance Defense. He is a nationally certified Surveillance Investigator Specialist. Licensed by the California Department of Insurance.
